Privacy Policy

When you log an attack, the app saves it in a database on your device: the date and time, severity, duration, pain location, symptoms, triggers, medications, and any note you write.

This information is health data. It is never uploaded to our servers or shared. It stays in the app's private storage on your phone, apart from the backups described below, which go to your own Google account or to a file you choose.

The app includes an optional feature that turns a sentence such as "woke at 3am, bad one behind my left eye, took sumatriptan" into a filled-in form. It is switched off until you turn it on, and the app is fully usable without it.

If you turn it on, then each time you use that feature:

• The sentence you typed is sent to our server, along with the list of symptom and trigger options the app offers.
• Our server forwards it to Google's Gemini API to interpret, and returns the result to your app so you can review and correct it before saving.
• Our server does not store the text. It is held in memory only for the moment it takes to answer the request.
• Your saved history is never sent. Only the single sentence you type into that field.

Google processes that text under the Gemini API terms. We do not control Google's handling of it, so if you would rather no health information leave your device at all, simply leave the feature off.

Android backup. If you have Android's backup feature switched on, the operating system copies this app's data to your own Google Drive account, and restores it when you set up a new phone. This is handled by Android, not by us — we never see it, and it does not count against your Drive storage. On Android 9 and later it is encrypted using your device PIN, pattern or password. You can turn it off in your phone's system settings.

Your permission for AI logging is deliberately excluded from these backups, so a new phone always asks you again before any text is sent.

Manual export. You can export your log to a file from inside the app. That file is plain, readable JSON and is not encrypted. Once you save or send it, it is yours to look after — keep it somewhere you trust. Importing a file adds its entries to your log without deleting anything already there.

• No accounts, sign-ups, or passwords.
• No advertising and no ad identifiers.
• No analytics or usage tracking.
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
• Your data is never used for employment, insurance, or credit decisions.

Notifications — used only for the optional daily reminder to log your day. You can decline it, and the app still works.

Internet — used only by the optional AI logging feature described above. With that feature off, the app makes no network requests.

Swipe any entry in the History list to delete it immediately. Uninstalling the app removes the entire database from your device.

Because we hold no copy of your records and have no account tied to you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

This app is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a deliberate limit while the app has no parental consent flow: the optional AI feature sends typed text to a third party, and the app offers in-app purchases, neither of which we are set up to handle safely for a minor.

If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

This app is a diary. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice, and any patterns it shows are based only on what you have entered. Always talk to a qualified clinician about your symptoms and treatment.

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, and the app will be updated to point to it.
